It has the perfect disposition, located as it is high above the sea. Farther afield are the resorts of Denia and Javea, while heading into the country is the Jalon Valley.

There is some nice driving here and into the Sierra de Mariola mountains. In addition, Valencia is also within reach of Benidorm with car hire in Benidorm La Cala. If you've got the time you could even make it up to Barcelona. There is a motorway all the way.
