Aberdeen airport, situated seven miles northwest of the city centre, is one of the principle gateways to Scotland, with links to the Northern Isles, Scandinavia and most major cities in the British Isles. Further facilities include a mother and baby room, which is located in the terminal building, near the information desk.

The airport has a pub and several restaurants, a bar and a coffee shop. There is also a choice of self-service restaurant, cafe bar, and baked potato counter.

Conference and business facilities are provided in the Aberdeen Airport Thistle Hotel. There is also a British Airways Executive Lounge in the airport with facilities for frequent flyers.

Toilets for the disabled are provided in the airport, as well as ramps and lifts to assist disabled passengers. Disabled drivers may park in reduced-rate parking spaces in the short-term car park, provided they display an orange badge.
