Playa Blanca

In the Canary Islands there is seaside resort town called Playa Blanca. Named after the many white sandy beaches that are in this area, Playa Blanca is a popular hang out for tourists who want to experience a peaceful vacation just lazing on the beach or frolicking in the surf. This is a quiet village that's main industry is fishing. It has escaped the main commercialism that most other beach resort towns have gone through and retains its natural beauty and charm.

The promenade is a wonderful place to sit for a meal or have a drink. There are many restaurants, bars and cafes to try with each one unique in its own way. This area is aimed at families and couples, so for nightlife you will have to travel a bit further to Puerto del Carmen. The restaurants serve a mixture of dishes and you can find Chinese, Italian, or traditional Spanish cuisine.

Near the harbour and the centre of the village you will find a good selection of shops and supermarkets. Some sell well known brands and some have wonderful, interesting curious for you to take home. The electrical goods are mainly duty free, but you should check that they have the CE stamp of approval.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?
