Situated on the east coast of the beautiful Spanish island of Mallorca, this resort town offers a seemingly endless array of entertainment and leisure options. You needn’t go far for a nice beach in this town. The beach in this city offers almost 2kms of excellent swimming, strolling, bicycling, shopping, dining and sunbathing. At night the beach promenade comes alive as locals and tourists alike go for a night in the pubs or a beautiful moonlit walk on the beach.

If you tire of the beach, a tour of the La Granja, a historical mansion in the city offers not only a view into this beautiful building, but also a chance to explore its extensive grounds that feature an array of wild and domestic animals. Of if you want a look at marine life up close, try the Nemo Submarine that has daily dives into the deep to view exotic fish and shipwrecks.

Cala Millor has a range of leisure activities available day and night. Marineland offers dolphin shows, performing parrots, penguins and a giant aquarium filled with a variety of colorful fish. If you are a golfer, there are 15 courses on the island and the furthest is only a 15-minute drive from the town. At night check out the Magalluf Pirate Show, the Sol de Mallorca Casino or some medieval jousting at the Comte de Mal.

Other places on the island of interest include La Reserva Puigpunyet. This 2.5 million square metre natural reserve has 30 magnificent waterfalls and an array of wildlife. Or, not far from the Cala Millor, are the Aquacity and the Aquapark. These separate facilities have a variety of water rides, slides and go-carts for the kids.

Mallorca Airport offers daily flights to and from Madrid as well as many European cities. Charter flights are numerous during the summer season.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
