Local man celebrates after winning £5,000 in national competition
3 January 2007 –Reading man, James Uzzell is starting 2007 in style after winning £5,000 in a national competition with online car hire company Carrentals.co.uk.
The competition, which saw over 11,000 people from across the UK entered into a draw to win a Round the World holiday or £5,000 cash, was part of the Carrentals.co.uk celebrations for booking its 100,000th customer.
James said: “We are amazed to have won - there are a lot of automatic entry competitions that you see everyday and you think nothing of them - but when you find that you actually have won it's such a nice surprise.
