There is so much to see and do at Colchester Zoo, providing fun for all the family. With over 30 daily displays, an undercover soft play area, four adventure play areas, two road trains and much more, Colchester Zoo promises to be a fun-filled day out for everyone!
Watch sea lions swimming above your head at Playa Patagonia or pay a visit to Penguin Shores to see penguins playing in the water. Head over to see baby white rhino Zamba playing alongside giraffes, zebras, greater kudu and ostriches at the Kingdom of the Wild and see the baby Pygmy Hippo inside its enclosure, as well as the herd of four elephants at Spirit of Africa.
Colchester Zoo’s Dragons of Komodo houses two Komodo Dragons, plus some of the rarest big cats in the world, including Amur tigers at Tiger Taiga. The latest new enclosure, Leopards at Ussuri Falls is also now open, and provides a larger home with separate enclosures for the Amur Leopards.
