Underground Bunker is Chilling Attraction

See where the people charged with organising our survival would have lived in the awful aftermath of a nuclear war. Enter through a 1.5 tonne blast door down a 120 metre long tunnel to the bunker - 80 ft below the Essex Countryside! See the huge telephone exchanges and the plotting room where aircraft, friend and foe, were tracked 24 hours a day, and where the plotting and analysis of nuclear explosions would have taken place, but thankfully never did.

Also visit the plant room, where millions of cubic litres of air were filtered, recycled and cooled and the communications floors, where government departments would have allocated remaining resources to survivors.
