Considering the fact that Vatican City is actually the smallest country in the world, this country has a very well developed network of transportation.  Vatican City is only 0.5 miles wide and 0.6 miles long, and it doesn’t have any highways or airports.  However, there is a standard gauge railway that connects to the Saint Peter’s station in Rome, and there is also one heliport.  Although traveling by bus, cycle, or just walking are really the best modes of transportation throughout the city-sate, travelers can still hire cars with sat nav to get around.

Vatican City is very beautiful to explore and is really hard to get lost in with such a small area of space, but booking a car rental with sat nav is still a good idea.  Even though there isn’t a lot of room to drive around in the country itself, having a car hire with sat nav will help with navigating around Rome, as well as the other surrounding cities of Italy.  When in Vatican City, one can’t really just stay there without exploring the other cities of Italy before they go home.  That would cheating yourself.  So instead of just sticking to one spot, it is ideal that tourists expand their travel to the surrounding Italian cities.
