The Cardiff Airport has a luxurious lounge that can match a guest’s high standard of comfort. Guests will find themselves away form the hustle and bustle of the airport in the comfortable and tranquil amenities of the 51 Lounge. The space is limited though so guests may have to book in advance to make sure they have a reserved spot at the lounge. The admission price is lower than most airport lounges that you see in United Kingdom – £13.50. Children below are not permitted. Adults and children have the same admission price.
The admission price is inclusive of hot and cold drinks such as wines, soft drinks, beers, tea and coffee. Guest can also have snacks and fresh fruits. Guests can distract themselves with television, books, magazines, and newspapers. They can also access the internet through WiFi, use the pay phone, fax and photocopying services. The lounge is a nonsmoking area. It is also accessible for disabled travelers. The lounge is located left of the Duty Free Shop pass the Travel Retail Shop. The lounge requires a smart casual dress code, which means shorts; football shirts and baseball caps are not allowed. Guests cannot use the lounge until their allotted time. They are advised to arrive at the exact time, so that they won’t be advised to go back. 51 Lounge has limited seating, so guests will have to make to call to make their reservations.
