What is excess protection?
Most car rental companies provide insurance cover for your car rental. This car hire insurance should cover you for any damage or theft of the vehicle. If you do have to make a claim you are required to pay an excess charge. This charge will vary and can be as much as £1,000!

With car hire excess protection we cover you for any physical loss or damage to the Rental Vehicle for which you are responsible for under the terms of the Car Rental Agreement. You are covered for physical damage (including damage to windscreens, tyres and the under body), fire, theft and vandalism.
