Manchester Airparks is a long stay car park, ideal for people going away for more than a couple of days. This is one of Manchester’s best value car parks, it is conveniently situated 4 miles from the Terminals and therefore the transfer is easy and quick.

The complementary transfer service operates 24 hours a day throughout the year and takes about 15 minutes. There are bus stations at the car park, so all you need to do is park up your vehicle and ride the coach all the way to your terminal. The transfer coaches for this car park have wheelchair access. It is advisable to allow 50 minutes between arrival at the car park and your check in time; this service drops passengers at Manchester station and there is then a 5 minutes walk to Terminal 1, 10 minutes to Terminal 2 and 20 Minutes to Terminal 3.

This car park is very secure and your vehicle will be completely safe due to the high security measures put in place in Manchester Airparks. They have award winning security systems, which include high secure fencing surrounding the compound, the area is well lit and security guards conduct regular car park patrols. There are also 24 hour CCTV cameras in operation.

Directions from the East

If you are travelling from Sheffield on the A57 or A628, join the M67 and follow signposts to the M60. Follow signs on the M60 for Manchester Airport. Exit the M60 at junction 3 and on the junction roundabout, take the A34 road, signposted Cheadle and Wilmslow. Once on this road follow ‘directions from the North’.

Directions from the North

If travelling from the North, M6, follow signs for the M60. Follow signs on the M60 for Manchester Airport. Exit the M60 at junction 3 and on the junction roundabout, take the A34 southbound. Continue on this road; pay no attention to Manchester Airport signs, and through a set of traffic lights. Remain on the A34, and go straight over the next three roundabouts. Following the third roundabout take the left turn slip road, which will be sign posted Handforth Dean Cars Only. This road goes under the A34. Follow this road and at the roundabout take the third exit. Manchester Airparks Park and Ride is straight ahead.

Directions from the West

If travelling from North Wales and Chester on the M56, exit the motorway at junction 6, and take the A538 Wilmslow. Follow signs to Wilmslow centre, turn left at the T-junction, and go straight on at the traffic lights. At the mini roundabout turn right following A34 Manchester and Handforth Dean Signs. At the first roundabout, turn left (first exit) onto the A34. Go straight over the first roundabout and turn left (first exit) at the second, signposted Hanford Dean. At the next small roundabout, take the third exit, onto Long Marl Drive. Continue to next roundabout and follow signs to Airparks, second exit.

Directions from the South

If travelling from the South, exit the M6 North at junction 18 and take the A54 exit, sign posted Holmes Chapel. Continue along this road for approximately 1.25 miles and then follow signs for the A535 Wilmslow and Alderly Edge at the double roundabout. Continue on the A535 until road ends, and here take a left turn onto the A34. At roundabout continue on the A34 Handford road. At the next roundabout turn left, following signs to Handforth Dean and Brooke Park Industrial Estate. At the next small roundabout, take the third exit, onto Long Marl Drive. Continue to next roundabout and follow signs to Airparks, second exit.
