Zagreb Airport is located 17kms from the centre of the city, which can be reached in 20 to 25 minutes by bus to the central bus station on Marin Drzic avenue. In addition to the national carrier, Croatia Airlines, there are regular flights by Lufthansa, Swissair, SAS, Air France, British Airways, CSA, Aeroflot, LOT, Malaysia Airlines and Austrian Airlines.
Travellers with their own vehicle can use one of the four border crossings between Hungary and Croatia. There are also 29 crossings between Slovenia and Croatia; 23 between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia; and 7 between Yugoslavia and Croatia.
The main railway station is located in the centre of the city at Kralj Tomislav Square, a ten-minute walk from the central city square. There are daily international services from Munich (Euro City Mimara), Vienna (Inter City Croatia, Cibalia), Venice (Inter City Kras, Simplon, Venice), Budapest (Drava, Maestral, Agram), Paris and Geneva (Simplon), Graz (Inter City Croatia, Zagreb) and Moscow (Agram).
The central bus station is located on Marin Drzic avenue, a few minutes by tram (line number 6) from the central city square. There are daily international bus services from Graz, Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Dortmund, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Zurich, Barcs and Nagykanisza. Buses leave for Berlin and Istanbul several times a week as well.
