Whyalla Airport is an airport just outside of Whyalla. While it's operated by the City of Whyalla, the airport is chiefly used a a general aviation airport. While the runway is long enough to support aircraft the size of a 737, the condition of the runway makes such landings impossible.

The airport itself is suitable for small aircraft, and does have some amenities and services.
