Located approximately 10 miles west of central London, Wembley provides a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Wembley has pleasant expanses of greenery and has historically been one of the centres of football.

The first thing that comes to the minds of many when hearing ‘Wembley’ is Wembley Stadium, where England famously won the 1966 Football World Cup and where teams have traditionally vied for the world-famous FA Cup. Wembley Stadium, with its distinctive twin towers, is currently being rebuilt and may remain closed to the public for some time, however, when it reopens it will again be one of the world’s foremost entertainment and sporting complexes, hosting such prestigious events as the FA cup final and international football and rugby matches.

For those with kids, a visit to Fantasy Island is a must. The theme park features monster slides, a play arena, go-kart track, interactive laser tag game and much, much more. Another great attribute of Wembley is its parks, exemplified by Gladstone Park, once the private parkland of Dollis Hill House, and the 100–year-old Roundwood Park, complete with flower beds, a pool with water lilies and an aviary.

Wembley has ample first-class accommodation and some great restaurants. Nightlife is exciting and vibrant, with plenty of pubs, bars, clubs and discos catering to a variety of tastes.

Attractions nearby include Earl's Court/Olympia, Twickenham and Kew Gardens, while further afield lie High Wycombe and Oxford.

Wembley is located near both London Heathrow and London Luton International Airports. There is plenty of regular and reliable transportation from either airport to the Wembley area.
