By car from downtown Washington DC, drive west along the I-66 until you reach exit 67, then follow airport signs which guide you to the 16 mile distant airport.

Washington Flyer Express Bus serves the National Airport and West Falls Church Metro Station. Metrorail services can be reached by boarding this bus and alighting at West Falls Metro Station. Greyhound also provides connections between the airport and several locations in Virginia.

Those wishing to travel by taxi may avail themselves of the Washington Flyer Taxicabs which serve Dulles International Airport exclusively, providing a 24-hour service between airport and city.

Both hourly and daily parking are located within walking distance of the main terminal. There are also long-term car parks which provide a free shuttle service to the terminals.
