Car Rental Vigo Airport - Transportation to and From Vigo Airport

Vigo Airport is located 9kms from Vigo and 28kms from the city of Pontevedra, and is easily accessed by both private and public transportation. Direct road access to the airport is gained via the roads N-556 from Vigo, N-555 from Redondela and N-120 from Ourense. The first two also link up with the A-9 motorway, which leads to Pontevedra, Bayona and Portugal.

Bus Line L9 runs from the airport to the city centre, terminating at the parish of Matama, every thirty minutes between 6:00 and 23:00; Saturday afternoons and Sundays, every hour. Taxis are available from outside the terminal building and run to central Vigo and other nearby locations.

There is one large car park located directly opposite the terminal building and suitable for short-term and long-term parking. The first 30 minutes are free of charge. There is a pick-up and drop-off area right outside the terminal entrance (10 minutes standing time maximum), and assistance is available for the mobility impaired.
