Interstate 10, the main east-west interstate highway across the southern United States, passes through Tucson on its way to Phoenix. To reach central Tucson, take the Congress Street exit off I-10. I-10 continues west to Los Angeles and east through Houston and New Orleans before terminating in Jacksonville, Florida. I-79 heads northwards to Florence and eventually connects with US 60 into Phoenix. I-19 leads from Tucson to the Mexican border at Nogales. I-86 heads southwest into the Papago Indian Reservation.
