Trieste Airport, located in the southeast of the Friuli-Venezia region, has become increasing popular with tourists. The airport now serves around one and a half million passengers annually and is continually growing and expanding.
The airport has one passenger terminal that caters to all flight services. A bank, currency exchange bureau and ATM machines are all conveniently located within the terminal.
Hungry and thirsty passengers are sated by the airport’s bars, cafés and restaurants. A wide range of shopping is provided by duty-free and regular stores. Specialist products such as local handicrafts and wine complement the range of usual duty-free items.

Trieste is 33km (20 miles) from the airport. There are regular shuttle services to the city (contact the information booth for current timetables), and taxis are available for trips into the city and beyond.
There are short term parking spaces and long term parking spaces at the airport, with a drop off and pick up area right outside the terminal entrance.
