Getting to Treviso
Treviso is located in the northeast of Italy, in the region of Veneto. The city is well serviced by all modes of transport. An international airport is nearby and Treviso is also in close proximity to the motorway network and has excellent rail connections with the capital.
Treviso San Giuseppe Airport is ideally located just three kilometres from the city centre. From here, the ACTT number 6 bus provides a service every 30 minutes from 06:00 to 21:30 to Treviso train station in the town centre. The journey takes approx 20 minutes and tickets cost around 1 and are available in the arrivals hall. Alternatively, taxis are plentiful and reasonably priced.
Treviso is 550kms from Rome. By car, head north on the A1 (Rome-Bologna) motorway, passing the city of Florence. From Bologna, head northeast on the A13 (Bologna-Padua) motorway, then go east on the A4 for Mestre. From here, head north on the A4 and A47, turning left on to the SP62 to reach the city.
Trains go roughly every hour from Romes Tutte Le Stazioni to Trevisos Centrale, taking around five hours. From Genoa, trains go at 20 minutes past every hour from the Tutte Le Stazioni, taking five hours. From Milan, trains go every hour and take 3 hours, 30 minutes. Eurolines has bus connections from most cities Europe-wide to Treviso.
