Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport is currently Canada's biggest and busiest airport, serving a large number of domestic and international flight destinations. It is located 16 miles northeast of downtown Toronto.

Toronto airport has two terminals since the consolidation of old Terminals 1 and 2. This consolidated terminal is home to Air Canada, and many domestic flights are routed through this terminal. The second building, Terminal 3, serves the majority of long haul services provided at Toronto airport. Inter-terminal shuttle services circle the airport complex and are free of charge, taking 5 to 10 minutes.

Aircraft taxiing times from the runway to terminal buildings may take up to an hour because the arrivals runway is some distance from the main airport complex.

A large number of ‘mobile customer service agents’ are on constant stand-by to offer you assistance in any way. They can be found throughout Toronto’s airport complex.

A generous selection of shopping and dining facilities are provided at Lester B. Pearson International Airport. Banks, ATMs and currency exchange services are also on offer in all areas of the airport.

There are no storage lockers but a baggage check service is open daily in both terminals. Luggage carts are available throughout both terminals, costing a refundable $1 Canadian. Smoking areas are provided near airport bars and food courts.

In Terminal 2, you will find a business centre, while all terminals have internet access.

Facilities for the disabled are widely available, including wheelchair access and specially designed toilet facilities. As usual, inform your airline of any individual needs, ahead of departure.
