Car Rental Sydney Airport - Transportation to and From Sydney Airport
An Airport Rail Link links the International Terminal 1, the domestic terminals, central Sydney and the Sydney suburbs. Airport Rail Link stations are found in terminals 1, 2 and 3 and near the Express Terminal. Trains operate every ten minutes at peak times and every 15 minutes at weekends and off-peak times, 05:00-24:00 Monday-Friday, 05:00-01:00 Friday-Sunday.
Buses also serve the airport, the bus area is located outside the International Terminal 1 Arrivals hall, next to the airport's outdoor Piazza. At the domestic terminals, waiting areas are located outside the Express Terminal and opposite Terminal 2 Domestic and Terminal 3 Qantas.
Green and Gold Airport Express buses provide fixed route services between the airport terminals, central Sydney and Kings Cross, 5:00-23:00. Route 300 transports passengers to central Sydney and Central Station. Route 350 serves Central Station, Kings Cross, Potts Point and Elizabeth Bay. Tickets are bought from the driver. There are also buses direct to Bondi Junction, via Cogee, East of the city centre.
A taxi rank is positioned outside the mid-point of the Arrivals hall in International Terminal 1. Maxi-taxis and wagons, as well as normal taxis, offer baby capsules and wheelchair access, with trips to downtown taking 30 minutes. Taxi ranks are also situated directly outside each of the domestic terminals.
Another option is the limousine service, which may be booked in advance and is located in front of the International Terminal 1 Arrivals hall.
Three car parks are available. The International Terminal 1 Car Park is situated on the Arrivals level of the International Terminal. Domestic multi-storey and long-term carparks are also provided. To access the Long Term Car Park, follow Ross Smith Avenue from General Holmes or Sir Reginald Ansett Drive.
