Stresa is a very small town of about 5,000 people located on the shoreline of Lago Maggiore. The shoreline of the Lago Maggiore is breathtaking; you can take a boat to the island of Borromean for a nice day of sightseeing. There is also a 20 minute ride in a cable car that will take you to the top of Mount Mottarone. Stresa has some of the most breathtaking countryside in all of Italy, when you come on vacation you should take advantage of everything the town has to offer.
