Car Rental & Transportation to and From Stockholm Airport
Three railway stations are locatad in the airport: one (under SkyCity) for long-distance destinations including Trondheim and Göteborg, and two for frequent express trains to Stockholm (one under Terminal 5 and one with exits to Terminals 2, 3 and 4). The Arlanda Express trains run every 15 minutes at peak times 05:05-00:35, journeys to central Stockholm take 20 minutes.
The SJ Trainbus and bus no. 583 provide bus links to Märsta station, one stop north of Stockholm Central station, which is also served by InterCity and X2000 trains.
Bus stations are positioned in front of terminals 2, 4 and 5, with buses serving Stockholm City Terminal run every five to ten minutes at peak times between 06:40-23:05 daily, journeys take 45 minutes. Buses to many other destinations are also available from the airport.
Taxis depart from directly outside the terminals, while Luxury taxis may be reserved from Freis Rent (tel: (0)8 309 100). Before taking a taxi, passengers should speak with a taxi co-ordinator, found outside the terminal.
By car from Stockholm, follow the E-4 north to Arlanda and direct yourself according to airport signs.
You will find parking provided at multi-storey and outdoor car parks, which provide direct access to the terminals. Further spaces are located underneath SkyCity, whilst long-term parking is situated further away from the terminals: it has lower rates and is linked by courtesy shuttle buses nos. 14 and 17.
