Split Kastela Airport is situated within close proximity to several cities in Poland including Kastela, Trogir and Split. The airport is about six kilometers from Kastela and Trogi, and about 25kms from Split.

The international airport handles many flight operators including Croatian Airlines, Ardria, Malev Hungarian Airlines, British Airways and others. The airport handles flights from Frankfurt, Cologne, Stuggart, Oslo, London, Rome and other major European cities.

There is one terminal, which serves all flights. You will find ATMs located throughout the terminal building, though there aren't any full banking facilities available.

The airport has several duty-free retail outlets carrying numerous items including alcoholic drinks, cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, perfumes, confectionery, watches, sunglasses, leather goods, toys, jewellery and many more products. Other non-duty free stalls sell crystal, silk scarves, wallets and other items.

There is a coffee bar in the the international passengers lounge that has a good beverage and food menu, and a restaurant outside the international passenger area. There is also an information desk and more than 10 car rental operators including Hertz, Budget and Thrifty.

There is a bank, HVB Splitska Banka, at the passenger terminal, whose services include banking and currency exchange. A post office and a mini market selling souvenirs, newspapers and other items are all located at the passenger terminal.
