Seodaedu is an area in downtown Songhyeon-dong, a neighborhood in Dalseo-gu, a district of Daegu, the fourth largest city in South Korea. It is the center of the cultural scene of Daegu and a big contributor to the economic health of the big city, as well.

There are a number of national and local cultural properties you might visit. Particularly present in Daegu are sites of excavated menhir, ancient standing stones. You'll also find many wonderful temples and shrines of Buddhist and pre-Buddhist origins. Also, currently under construction, is a Prehistoric Relics Park.

If you're a plant lover, you'll want to visit the Daegu Arboretum, a reclaimed land fill with over 1,000 types of flora, from herbs to trees. The Arboretum has different themed areas for wild plants, medicinal plants, and aromatic plants. They also have a rock garden and a hydroponic garden.
