Rome Ciampino Airport, also known as Giovan Battista Pastine Airport, is located 15kms from the city centre of Rome. The airport has become very popular and serves as the main hub for many airlines, with the terminal operating a number of domestic and international flights.
The airport has three terminals: Departures, Arrivals and General Aviation. There is also one big cargo terminal. Large and fully-equipped, the airport boasts four information desks, one located at each terminal including the cargo terminal.
The Banca di Roma is the main bank represented at the airport, while ATMs situated at the Arrivals area and in the General Aviation Terminal. Other services include nurseries at the Arrivals and Departures areas, a first aid office and a post office. There is a variety of shops including duty-free shops and restaurants located throughout the airport.
The General Aviation Terminal is dedicated to VIP services. There are personalised services and facilities for those flying business-class. Personalised boarding and disembarkation gates, reserved check-in services, a VIP Hall and Lounge with snack bars as well as conference rooms for business meetings are all available at this terminal.
