Transportation to and From Rome Airport
One of the easiest and most economical ways of getting into Rome is via the Leonardo Express Stazione Termini direct train. This service runs twice hourly from the airport and costs about 9. Airport rail connections also run to Trastevere, Ostiense and Tiburtina.
Regular bus services run passengers from the airport into downtown Rome and the surrounding area. These services can be found outside terminal entrances. A night bus also runs to Stazione Tiburtina.
Taxis are available (at extortionate prices upwards of 60) outside terminal entrance/exit points beside baggage claim. They operate round-the-clock services.
If you're driving, an Autostrada runs from the airport to the city via EUR. The trip should take around 45 minutes.
On-site parking facilities are good, offering short and long term parking services in various sites close to the main terminal buildings. Inter-connecting passenger walkways and free shuttle services are in regular operation.
