Riga International Airport is located about 13kms southwest of Rica, the capital city of Latvia. Acting as the largest airport in the Baltic states, the airport connects Riga with more than 25 countries worldwide.

The airport is fully-equipped with facilities for passengers. There are two banks located in the terminal, with ATMs and a bureau de change located in the passenger zone, airside. The first aid office and a post office can be found in the Arrivals area, while restaurants and bars are situated on the first, second and third levels of the terminal. Public telephones are located throughout the terminal.
Shopping can be done both in the public area and in the passenger area. A flower shop and landside shops are located on the second level of the terminal and welcome both guests and passengers. The duty-free shops are situated in the Departures area, reserved only for passengers with tickets. The airport boasts its own magazine, GatewayRiga, available for all visitors and passengers to Riga Airport, providing information on new routes, new airlines and the airports facilities.
A business lounge is provided for those flying business-class. There is reading material and business facilities such as fax, telephone and photocopying services as well as computers with internet access and drinks and snacks available for executive passengers. Those wishing to use conference rooms can find the new conference centre, Horizonts, on the third level of the terminal, equipped with laptop facilities, multimedia projector, interactive board, overhead projector, printer, photocopier, video and audio systems and internet connections.
