Raleigh-Durham International Airport is located in North Carolina, equidistant from the Durham and Raleigh. With an estimated 11.6 million passengers passing through each year, it has rapidly become a busy hub for the US Southeast.

RDU airport has two terminals: Terminal A and Terminal C. Terminal C provides mostly domestic flight services whereas the majority of flights leaving Terminal A are to overseas destinations. Complimentary buses connect the terminals and the park and ride carparks.

ATMs and exchange bureaux are located at the baggage reclaim area of Terminal A and near gate C16 in Terminal C . Each terminal offers a variety of restaurants, bars and shops. The airport has a wide array of shops in both terminals. There are new and used bookshops, speciality coffee shops, gifts shops, 24-hour florists and a designer men's clothing outlet. A meditation area is found close to the main baggage reclaim area in Terminal A.

Business centres located in the baggage reclaim area of terminal A and on the mezzanine floor in terminal C, provide photocopying, notary, fax and other services. Computer workstations and internet access are situated in the terminals.
