Located about five kilometres from the city centre of Poznan in Poland, Poznan Lawica Airport is one of the oldest Polish airports, dating back to 1913, when it began its days as a German military facility.

There are many airlines serving the airport including Aer Lingus, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Ryan Air, SAS and Wizz Air, which operate flights to major destinations in Europe such as Dublin, Frankfurt, Munich, Copenhagen, Warsaw and London.

The information desk is located in the main hall of the terminal. There is a bank with ATMs and money exchange services are provided in the terminal. Other services include a post office, a fully-equipped first aid room (located near the western entrance to the terminal) and baby and mother room. There are many restaurants and cafés in the Arrivals Hall, Departures Hall and in the main Passenger Terminal. To kill time, there are duty-free stores and newsagents in the Departures zone.

Business Executive Lounge offers business facilities as well as internet access. Passengers can also use a visual information system and find a variety of reading material here. Drinks and snacks are also provided. Only passengers holding business class tickets can use this service free of charge. Other passengers can pay an additional fee to gain access to the lounge.
