The Church of San Francisco was founded in 1274 and houses the De Grasis sepulchre and a Byzantine style Madonna.
The Palazzo Loffredo of Potenza is a 17th century noble residence worth visiting. Today it is the seat of the ‘Dinu Adamesteanu’ which is the National Archaelogical Museum of Potenza. You find remnants of an old castle in the Torre Guevara which is now used for staging art exhibitions.
