Located on the Paris Metro network, the Porte d’Orleans Station is the southern most terminal of Line 4. The station was first opened in 1909 and is one of the original Metro stations. The area is rich with French architecture, great shopping, Parisian nightlife and the lovely Montsouris Park.
Line 4 is the second busiest Metro line in Paris. The line spans from Porte d’Orleans in the south six and a half miles to Porte de Clignancourt in the city’s north.
Line 4 is popular with tourists as many famous attractions are situated along its stops, such as the Montparnasse Tower and the beautiful Luxembourg Garden.
The Porte d’Orleans station’s facilities include toilets, ATMs, light refreshments and newsagents. Outside of the station is an array of fantastic Parisian cafes and restaurants. Many hotels are available at the station’s doorstep, making it a perfect place to spend the night.
