    Airport Facilities

    The Airport now has seven terminals (A-G), since the recent completion of new domestic and international terminal buildings. Terminals B and C are dedicated to domestic flight destinations only. The terminals are connected by efficient travelators.

    All terminals offer a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Banks, ATM's and currency exchange services are also widely available across the majority of terminals. Terminals A & C provide duty free shopping, while all terminals are equipped with spacious waiting lounges. Philadelphia Marketplace  can be found in between terminal B and terminal C; this arena boasts 34 shops and restaurants. Medical facilities are available at the Mercy Careport.

    A Business Center offers fax, internet and other electronic services. There are also meeting rooms and catering facilities. Communication facilities are also found in the link between terminal A and B, providing internet access, fax and other office services.

    There are specially fitted toilets, Braille signs on ATM's and lifts, as well as TDD phones. A leaflet called ‘Getting Around’ is published by the airport and may be sent to prospective passengers. Special parking is on-hand and the shuttle buses are wheelchair-accessible.

    Each terminal building offers both long and short-term parking. Parking lots are only a few minutes walk from their respective terminals. Economy parking is available close to Airport Terminal E.  Valet parking is available near the entrance to departures in Terminal B.

    Transport

    Car hire is available in the arrivals area of both terminal buildings. Look out for Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz and National car hire suppliers. Prices can be far more expensive at the airport rental desks, so don't wait until arriving at Philadelphia Airport, instead book in advance and save both time and money.     Buses and trains connect Philadelphia Airport with many major stations in the city. Trains take approx. 20 minutes and depart every 30 minutes from the hours of 06:00 and 24:00 daily. Further information is available from SEPTA on (+1) 215-580-7800.

    Taxis, limousines and shuttle buses offer regular services to and from Philadelphia Airport, and can be booked on arrival. Desks are located  opposite the baggage claim areas, look out for sign-posts. Taxis are available 24/7 from Zone 5; Shuttle buses and limousines are located at Zone 7. Bus services also run from airport Zone 1.

    Travelling to Philadelphia International Airport by car from central Philadelphia is easy. Travellers should take the I76 route South, and then exit at junction 43B. After a few miles you will then need to join the SR-291 road heading South. After several kilometers you will see signs for the airport.
