Philadelphia International Airport, located seven miles from downtown Philadelphia, provides an airline service for one of the largest metropolitan areas in the United States.
The Airport now has seven terminals (A-G), since the recent completion of new domestic and international terminal buildings. Terminals B and C are dedicated to domestic flight destinations only. The terminals are connected by efficient travelators.
All terminals offer a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Banks and ATM services are also widely available and currency exchange facilities are situated in most terminals. Duty free shopping is available in terminals A and C, while all terminals are equipped with spacious waiting lounges. The Philadelphia Marketplace is situated on the connector between terminals B and C; this arena boasts 34 shops and restaurants. Medical facilities are available at the Mercy Careport.
A Business Center offers fax, internet and other electronic services. The also have meeting rooms and catering facilities. Communication facilities are also found in the link between terminal A and B, providing internet access, fax and other office services.
