The gateway to the French Basque region and Pyrenees, Pau Airport is an ultra-modern and constantly expanding transportation hub for this unique region.
The airport has one single storey terminal that caters to all arrivals and departures. There is an ATM located near the boarding area, and there are WIFI broadband wireless Internet connection terminals provided throughout the terminal (connection cards are available from the CCI Information Desk).
Food is served in the elegant airport restaurant, which features both a bar section and dining area. The Airport Shop sells regional produce all year round: Jurançon and Madeiran wines at wholesale prices, award-winning foie gras and Armagnac, Espelette chilli peppers, Spanish cold meats, local sweets (Miot, Verdier) and other specialities. Choose from a wide range of gifts including locally-made clothes and berets, in addition to jewellery, cosmetics, ornaments and toys. Near the restaurant is a newsagency that has a range of newspapers and magazines available from the newsagent. There is also a tobacconist.
The airport has meeting rooms that can be equipped to suit visitors’ needs (overhead projector, paper-board and more) and a food and refreshment service can also be provided. Those who require special assistance or wheelchairs should notify their airlines when booking their flight. Specially fitted toilets and ramps are located across the airport. For car parking, designated areas are available in the car park opposite the terminal.
There is a CCI informationdDesk on the ground floor and can assist visitors with tourist information, baggage services, lost property, messages for travellers and loud speaker announcements. The Tourist Information Desk in the Flight Arrivals hall offers plenty of leaflets and brochures providing information on activities, sightseeing and culture in Pau and the Béarn region.
