Mini guide to Paris - Villiers
Paris – Villiers
Located in the northwest of Paris 11 miles from the city centre, the busy Metro station of Villiers was first opened to commuters in 1903. The station is conveniently situated near many of Paris’ attractions. The Villiers Station retains its early 1900s design and charm, with some beautiful stone and marble work.
Villiers Station serves Line 2 and Line 3 of the Paris Metro network. Line 2 was the second line built on the Paris Metro and travels 7 and a half miles from Porte Dauphine in the west to Nation in the east. Line 3 links Bagnolet to Levallois via St Lazare Station on approximately 7 miles of railway track.
In the station there are toilets, ATMs, refreshments and newsagents. Outside, the charming streets nearby are filled with French Nouveau architecture and a multitude of alfresco cafes, bars and fine dining restaurants. An abundance of great hotels make staying in the area an attractive option.
Buses and taxis are available at the Villiers Station. To see the city at your leisure, car hire is another option. Hire cars can be arranged for pickup from the station. It is advised to book a car online before your trip to ensure the best deal.
