This charming little harbour town, on the southwest coast of Cyprus, has an impressive history, well preserved centre and excellent tourist facilities. Paphos is apparently the birthplace and centre of worship of Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, not surprisingly it is listed as a World Heritage site.
