The town centre was constructed in the middle of the 1980s, with the community centre and the town hall. The world famous composer Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari, who made Ottobrunn his home for about 15 years, has had the community centre aptly named after him. The presence of the Doric order of Greece in Ottobrunn is one of the biggest factors that compel any tourist to visit. It was made by chiseller Anton Ripfel to reminisce the day when the Ottomans of Greece travelled through this town.
Another one of the important places to visit that hails itself to Ottobrunn is the presence of the headquarters of the EADS, which specializes in the manufacture of satellites, space equipment, aircrafts, and just about anything related with aeronautics.
Ottobrunn is well connected and possesses a railway station called the Munich-S-Bahn found in the south east part of the city. One can easily make their way to Ottobrunn to have a fun filled vacation.
