You can also go to see a great example for medieval castles in Holland called the Slot Zuylen which was constructed in the 13th century and was inhabited through the beginning of the 20th century. It has been converted to a museum since 1952 and has a lot of rooms that are furnished with different styles of the 17th century through the 19th century, something different in every room.
