The New York Airport Service Express Bus provides reliable transportation to many destinations in the city of New York. Destinations include Penn Station, Grand Central Terminal and the Port Authority Bus Terminal.

JFK International Airport offers taxi services, buses, shuttles and limousines to and from each of its nine terminals. Ground Transportation Information counters are located in terminal ‘Baggage Claim’ areas and provide local travel information including service pick-up points from the airport.

Serious taxi delays can be expected at JFK during busy periods as a result of high demand. Alternative modes of transport are advised during these times, such as the SuperShuttle Manhattan, the New York Airport Services Express Bus or the Gray Line Air Shuttle.

Airport parking facilities are well organised but can be over-crowded, especially in Terminals 4, 5 and 6. Passengers may opt for short-term parking or long-term parking; the latter being situated four miles from the terminal area. Disabled parking facilities are also available. Two Expressways, (the Van Wyck and the JFK) lead into the Central Terminal Area of the airport. Along these expressways you will find colour-coded signs providing information for appropriate parking areas near the terminal.
