Car Rental New Brunswick - Exploring New Brunswick

Bordered on three sides by water, New Brunswick is an adventurer's paradise, offering the traveller an abundance of sandy beaches with the warmest saltwater north of Virginia, as well as the highest and wildest tides in the world.

The uniquely formed Hopewell Rocks is a popular site in the bay. Here you can actually walk along the ocean floor, then observe the tide come in, changing the massive rocks into tiny islands.

For many visitors, the biggest draw is the bay’s thriving whale population. Whale-watching is extremely popular, as the Bay of Fundy boasts regular visits from more whale species than anywhere else in the world. The waters of the bay are home to over 15 species of whale, including the rare Right Whale. Whale-watching tours depart from different regions around the province, including Deer Island, Campobello Island, Grand Manan and St Andrews.

Fundy National Park, with its panoramic ocean vistas, deep river valleys, old field bogs and beaches, is a great place to do some wilderness camping or kayaking. Kouchibouguac National Park is an intricate blend of coastal and inland habitats, beaches, sand dunes, salt marshes and rivers. With over 223 species of birds and the second largest tern colony in North America, this is also a birdwatcher’s paradise. Take a day adventure in a voyageur canoe to see the seal colony that flourishes off the northern tip of Richibucto Dune.

New Brunswick is also home to the world's longest covered bridge, and King's County boasts a remarkable total of almost 50 of these quaint and romantic structures, which are dotted throughout the landscape.
