Car Rental Memphis Airport - Transportation to and From Memphis Airport

The Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) runs a regular bus service from Memphis Airport. Unfortunately there are no direct bus routes presently available, requiring you to transfer in order to reach either Graceland or downtown Memphis. Tel. (+1) 901 274-6282.

You'll find taxi stands in front of the terminal building, located adjacent to the baggage claims areas of concourses A, B and C. A taxi ride to Graceland, just 5 miles away, costs less than $10. The 15-mile ride to downtown Memphis takes around 20 minutes and should cost $20.

By car from Memphis city centre, follow the I-240 and exit at the Airways exit south. When you reach the Y-junction, take the Plough Boulevard left, this terminates at the airport.

Airport parking facilities are located on-site and are mostly connected with the terminal or very close by. The remaining parking areas are linked by a regular shuttle service, operational all day every day. Long term, short term and disabled parking options are available.
