Malta enjoys a lovely Mediterranean climate, with plenty of summer sunshine and mild, sunny, winters. Its a mere 300kms from Libya’s coastline off North Africa and temperatures reach the 30°C in midsummer (July to August), resulting from the hot sirocco winds that blow in from Africa. In winter it seldom dips below 15° C. Rainfall is quite low and generally comes between November to February.

Between February June is the best time to visit Malta, when temperatures are most comfortable and tourist few. September and October are also good months to visit.
