Car Rental & Transportation to and From Lyon Airport

Lyon-Saint Exupery Airport is located 24kms from the centre of Lyon. All the main towns in the region can be reached in less than one hour's drive. From Lyon, take either the N6/A43 (toward Chambery) or the N84/A42 (toward Geneve) and take the A432 junction to the airport.

Similarly, there is an extensive bus network providing regular and reliable services throughout the Rhone Alps region. Shuttles run between the airport and Lyon every 20 minutes from 05:00 to 23:20. Contact the information counter or consult the website for current timetables.

Taxis depart from outside the terminal building 24 hours a day and provide quick convenient access to Lyon and other destinations in the vicinity.

There are five car parks; P0, P1, P2, P5 and P6. P0, P1 and P2 are suitable for short-term parking, while P5 and P6 (served every 10 minutes by a free shuttle bus between 04:45 and 23:35) are situated further away from the terminal building and are more suitable for long-term parking. There are also drop off / pick up areas right outside the terminal entrances, and assistance is available for those with reduced mobility.
