Car Hire in Luxembourg - Getting to Luxembourg
Luxembourgs international airport, Findel, is 6km east of the capital. The national airline, Luxair, flies to a number of European destinations, including Amsterdam, Athens and London. Other airlines service the major trans-Atlantic cities.
Luxembourgs train network is highly efficient and connects the capital to most major European cities as well as many neighbouring towns and villages; Eurail, Inter-Rail, Europass Flexipass and Tourrail passes are all valid on the trains.
The bus system is even more thorough than the trains, covering more routes within the country and offering unlimited day tickets (available at the airport terminal).
Luxembourg's road network is very good. The major automobile routes into and out of the capital include the A4 to Brussels and Paris, the A31 via Dudelange to France and the A48 via Trier to Germany.
