Los Gigantes features many breathtaking mountains that tower over this pretty resort town in the Tenerife Canary Island. The name Los Gigantes means The Giants after these well known mountains.

This town offers a great marina with plenty of shops and restaurants as well as a swimming pool near the harbour. There are many interesting places to explore when you visit Los Gigantes like the lava beach down between the marina and the rocks. There are a large number of hotels, resorts and vacation apartments in this area as it is a tourist town.

Los Gigantes experiences a lovely sub tropical climate all year round which means that the weather is great most of the time. For the avid sports enthusiast who can't bear to laze on the sandy beaches all day, there are tons of activities to keep you occupied. Take an adventurous boat ride into the ocean and spot marlin, dolphins and other amazing sea creatures. You can go scuba diving or snorkelling and one of the highlights will be the many water sports that you can learn while on vacation.

From windsurfing to parascending, going on a banana boat and deep sea fishing, you can have the time of your life. This is a multi cultural area, as many tourists have loved Los Gigantes and never left. The cuisine at many of the restaurants reflects this blend, although the main dishes tend to be Spanish style and Mexican.
