Ljubljana D D International Airport is a modern, clean and efficient airport with a broad range of passenger facilities. It serves approximately one million passengers per year.

There is one passenger terminal serving both incoming and outgoing flights, with 13 check-in counters and six gates. Airlines serving the airport are: ASTAR Air Cargo, Adria Airways, Aeroflot, Austrian Airlines, Swiss WorldCargo, Tyrolean and United Parcel Service.

Ljubljana Airport is superbly equipped with amenities designed for passenger convenience. A full-service bank is located in the waiting area of the arrivals hall and there is another in the departures area (open weekdays 08:00 – 15:00). There is an automatic teller machine, with both cash withdrawal and cash exchange facilities.

A Kompass exchange bureau is located in the passenger terminal shopping area (open daily 07:00 – 19:00). There is a left luggage centre in the reclaim area. Baby changing facilities are located at the ladies toilets and there is a unisex baby changing room in the main concourse.

The airport has comprehensive leisure facilities, including a range of restaurants, bars, lounges and shops. There are snack bars in the main hall and in the departures area. You can also get refreshments on the visitors’ terrace, or in the self-service or à la carte restaurants. There is a lounge for business class passengers and a VIP lounge, complete with a fully equipped conference room.

The Edvard Rusjan lounge is suitable for business meetings, protocol events, press conferences and presentations. Several shops are located in various areas of the passenger terminal, and duty-free shopping is available in the international zone, after going through check-in and customs procedures.

Ljubljana Airport is situated 35kms from the city. Buses leave from the airport to Ljubljana bus station hourly on weekdays, and every second hour on weekends. There is also a direct bus into the city that leaves at peak hours. There are two parking areas, one with over 400 spaces situated in front of the terminal, and another with over 1,000 spaces situated on the right hand side when entering the airport. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes; thereafter an hourly rate is charged. Both parking areas have clearly marked spaces for disabled users.
