Getting to Leeds
Leeds International Airport has connecting flights from all around the British Isles and Europe. Connections to the Airport can be made by the LBA Airlink 757, a half hourly bus link from Leeds City Centre and from nearby Otley to the Airport. The service calls at all Metro stops on the route starting from Leeds City Bus Station and passing from the Railway Station five minutes later.
The airport is signposted on all major roads over a wide area, including the M1 and M62 motorways and the Yorkshire section of the A1.
Through tickets are available from most rail stations in the United Kingdom to the Airport, travelling via Leeds City Rail Station. These tickets can be purchased from staffed railway stations, conductors on the trains for same day travel to the airport, or from Rail appointed travel agents.
Leeds train station offers connections to all major rail networks in the UK and some European destinations. Timetables and other information are available at the station itself and from local travel agents. There is a local bus service connecting from the city center to the train station taking about 30 minutes and costing.£3.20 return.
When travelling by car Leeds is central to the network of British motorways with the A1 offering connections to the north and south; and the M62 east for Manchester and west for Hull.
