Car Rental & Transportation to and From La Palma Airport

Situated just eight kilometres from Santa Cruz de La Palma city centre, La Palma Airport is easily accessed by both private and public transportation. Public access to the airport is obtained from Santa Cruz de La Palma via the LP-138 road, which passes though a tunnel under the runway and rejoins the LP-132 road linking with Fuencaliente near Hoyo de Mazo.

Buses depart from Santa Cruz de la Palma from 07:15 to 20:45 (07:15 to 17:45, every half hour; 17:45 to 20:45, every hour); departures from the airport begin at 08:15 and end at 21:15 (08:15 to 17:45, every half hour; 17:45 to 21:15, every hour). Current timetables are available from the airport information desk. Taxis are available from outside the terminal building and run to central Santa Cruz and other locations around the island.

There is one huge free car park located directly opposite the terminal building that is suitable for short-term and long-term parking. There is a pick-up and drop-off area right outside the terminal entrance, and assistance is available for the mobility impaired.
