La Coruna Airport is situated in the north of the province, about eight kilometres from La Coruna, the economic capital of Galicia. The airport provides a modern and convenient gateway to the northwest coast, serving international passengers arriving mainly from the UK, Netherlands and Germany.
A single, two-level terminal building caters for all domestic and international flights. The levels are designated P0 and P1, with departures on P1 and arrivals on P0. There is an ATM machine located on level P0 of the terminal building.
The airport has an excellent café/restaurant, located on level P1. There is a multi-shop offering press and books, articles for the home and travel, toys and music. It also sells ceramics from Galicia.
Limited conference facilities are available next to the restaurant on level P1. Conference facilities must be booked in advance. Contact the airport manager for further information on business facilities (tel: +34(0) 981 187 315).
Those who require special assistance or wheelchairs should notify their airlines when booking their flight. Specially fitted toilets and ramps are located across the airport. Designated parking areas are available in the car park opposite the terminal. Two airport information desks are provided on level P0, which also has a tourist information booth.
