Car Rental Kuala Lumpur Airport - Transportation to and From Kuala Lumpur Airport
By car from Kuala Lumpur, follow the North-South Central Link Expressway (ELITE).
KLA Ekspres is an express rail service which runs directly between the airport and KL City Air Terminal (KLCAT), situated at Kuala Lumpur's Sentral Station. It runs every 15 minutes between 0500-0100, with journey times taking 28 minutes. Tickets may be purchased at vending machines or ticket counters at the airport.
KLIA Transit is also a high speed commuter train which runs from the airport to KLCAT, and stops at three major satellite towns: Salak Tinggi, Putrajaya/Cyberjaya and Bandar Tasik Selatan. KLIA Transit runs every 30 minutes between 0532-0032, with a trip duration of 37 minutes.
The bus station is located on the ground floor of Block C in the covered car park. Buses to KL and local buses to Nilai KTM Komuter station are provided. Tickets for the express KL service can be purchased at the authorised ticket counters in the Arrivals hall and also at the bus station, 0630-2330.
Taxis are located on the Arrivals level. Passengers are advised to buy a coupon at taxi counters on the Arrivals level and to avoid illegal taxi operators.
Short-term parking is provided in blocks B and C of the covered short-term car park. The building links to the main terminal building and the Pan Pacific Hotel at level 2. Long-term car parking is currently closed.
